Fall Leaves Turn Colors

60 reads·1 min read
Fall is a fun time. Look at the trees! Their leaves are red, orange, and gold. Why do leaves change? Green leaves have sun food inside. This food helps them grow big and strong. It makes the leaves look green all summer long. In the fall, the sun gets low. It does not shine as much. Trees stop making sun food. The green color goes away from the leaves. Then we see the other colors. Red, orange, and gold colors were hiding there. It is a pretty fall show!
